Before we start, no this is not going to be something boring like actual chess. Now then....
Kouta Kuribayashi was just an ordinary teenager, but had a slight problem in his childhood, he had a vicious and violent temper and no one wanted to be his friend. Then one day he met a strange transfer student named Suzu Misaki, and his life changed forever, he had learned that Suzu was part of alien race called Illumines, fighting a war against an evil race called the Kurakis, with their leader, Lars. Kouta had gotten himself involved in this war by trying to help Suzu. Suzu had realized his potential and allowed him to fight alongside, but to Kouta's surprise the Illumines weren't fighting a war with high technology (example: guns, tanks, and other crap) they were fighting an old fashioned war with swords and such. The only technology the Illumines had were teleportation, but only to warp to other planets. Kouta must learn to fight excellently if he hopes to help Suzu and her race win the war against Lars.
